Thanks for making it this far! Let me introduce myself for real.
My improv journey began, as it does for many, acting out funny versions of Passover stories in my late grandfather’s tween blazers that he wore as the head of a New Jersey furniture empire.
Okay, maybe that’s less relatable than I imagined in my head. In any case, I caught the bug early. I first started teaching improv to kids as a high schooler, joining a performance troupe in college and then helping found an early iteration of the Barcelona Improv Group when I decided to leave the US and live in Europe forever.
Since then, I have taught at the professional level at theaters and businesses all across Europe, including Boom Chicago, ImproNation, Mike’s Badhuistheater, Bristol Improv Theatre, Improv Comedy Copenhagen, King, Container Solutions, WeWork, and Newzoo.
I also co-founded Tag Out Theatre – Amsterdam’s first totally open stage – and presently lead marketing for the renowned international festival IMPRO Amsterdam.
It’s been a 20-year odyssey of making stuff up in every sort of space, from cramped boardrooms to pretty big theaters. Making folks laugh, unwind, feel cosily vulnerable, and make discoveries they may never have encountered otherwise. I’d love to include you in my next 20 years.

What people say about me
“Isaac’s joyful teaching style creates a safe space to explore new skills! He helped me build confidence for speaking and performing publicly, so that I could better show up on social media and build my business brand with authenticity (and a splash of silliness). He’s great working with large groups, and helps everyone get out of their comfort zone. Highly recommend his services for teams of any size.”

Isaac is a very positive, easy going & friendly individual. As an improv teacher in our school, he has been very successful in using his knowledge to motivate & inspire students to be more confident, creative & interactive in their personal & professional lives.
-George Rigopoulos, founder of Act Attack Theatre
“Isaac has a contagious hunger for knowledge that inspires through his teaching. I was particularly impressed by his ability to quickly read his students and adapt the lesson plan on the fly. He designed customised challenges for each of us based on his very accurate assessment of areas in which we could improve. Although class was on a Sunday afternoon and everyone was running low on energy, Isaac’s enthusiasm rubbed off on all of us. I trust that Isaac can bring insight, positivity, adaptability and a backpack full of improv knowledge to any teaching situation.”

Isaac is an energetic leader, a go getter, and a solution finder. He inspires others to work harder while positively leading the charge towards better work (through play). His dazzling skills, both technical and improvisational, make working with him a treat. He contributes a unique enthusiasm to every project in which he is involved and is welcomed to those who want projects done well and better than expected. Very qualified and given the opportunity to work with or under him again, I certainly would.
